I’m excited to share my Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Review after spending the most relaxing weekend hopping from pool to pool, dining at all the beautiful restaurants, and unwinding at the most luxurious resort.
In this detailed Fairmont Scottsdale review, you’ll learn all about the stunning Fairmont Scottsdale pools, the ample choice for dining at the Fairmont Scottsdale, the beautiful Fairmont Scottsdale Princess spa, Christmas at the Fairmont Scottsdale, and more. There is a reason that the Fairmont Scottsdale has been voted one of the best resorts in Arizona!

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Review
Whether you want to spend the day lounging by the pool, playing on an award-winning golf course, sampling delicious food, or getting a deep tissue massage, the Fairmont Scottsdale has everything you need.
There are golf carts to take you from place to place, spacious guest rooms to relax in, a beach pool with sand flown in from Miami, morning aerial yoga classes, and a long list of spa treatments for you to choose from.
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a destination resort with all you need inside the sprawling 65-acre resort. The hotel has been an AAA Five Diamond hotel for almost three decades and has luxurious touches throughout the resort.

Upon check-in, we were presented with a map of the resort (which was needed to orient ourselves). The wonderful service started as we pulled up and continued throughout our stay!
We followed one of the bell staff in a golf cart to the parking lot. He helped us with our luggage and drove us to our beautiful room. That was the last we saw of the car until we were driven back to the car at the end of our stay. I had planned to spend Saturday out and about but when I checked in, I realized this haven was too good to leave. We spent the weekend by the pools, enjoying the delicious food at the various restaurants and the resort amenities.
Your stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Hotel can be as busy or as relaxing as you like. We chose lots of relaxation! You’ll see throughout this Fairmont Scottsdale Review that is all positive. I am already excited about my return!
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Pools

One of my favorite things about the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess was the pools. This luxury Scottsdale resort has 6 pools so you can hop from pool to pool or pick your favorite. All of the pools have beautiful settings and cater to different audiences.
Princess Pool

The Princess Pool was my favorite pool at the Fairmont Scottsdale. It is located at the heart of the resort and is incredibly picturesque. You can enjoy views of the resort’s lush lagoons and TPC Stadium golf course as you cool off in the pool. Delicious food is served alongside refreshing drinks. On cooler nights, you can enjoy relaxing in one of the hot tubs under a starry sky.
Sunset Beach

The Sunset Beach pool at the Fairmont Scottsdale was another one of my favorite pools. This is the largest pool and features a 9,000 sq. ft. white sand beach and giant splash pad. There are pretty beach chairs and beautiful palm trees. Food and drinks are also served here.
Sonoran Landing Pool

Sonoran Landing is the resort’s adults-only pool. You can enjoy lap swimming or relax in one of the many oversized hammocks. There are plush day beds, floating bean bags, and poolside drinks.
Sonoran Splash Pool
Sonoran Splash Pool is the perfect spot for families! It is a whopping 6,000 sq. ft. with two 200-foot twisting water slides. There’s also a pool deck and a sandbox play area with beach toys for little ones.
Well & Being Rooftop Pool
There is a rooftop pool that’s exclusively available to spa guests. It’s the perfect place to relax before and after a treatment. Read more on the amazing Fairmont Scottsdale Spa below.
Privado Pool
The Privado pool is for the use of Privado guests only. It’s tucked away in the exclusive Privado Villas and overlooks the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course and the McDowell Mountains beyond.
If you want to enjoy the pools at the Fairmont Scottsdale, you can purchase a day pass from Resort Pass if you are not a hotel guest. Check availability and pricing here.
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Rooms
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has 750 beautiful guest rooms, including two Presidential Suites, 66 Fairmont Gold Rooms, and 122 Privado ultra-luxe rooms.
All accommodations throughout the hotel have living and work areas, terraces, refreshments, and oversized luxury bathrooms. As the hotel is a Five Diamond property, you’ll find luxurious touches throughout. Some of my favorites were plush bathrobes, slippers, a nightly turn-down service, comfy bedding, and beauty products by Le Labo.

We stayed in a Fairmont Room located in the resort’s main building. We had a private patio and a beautiful view of the gardens. I loved the his and hers sinks, walk-in wardrobe, massive bathroom, oversized shower, and the comfy bed.

Fairmont Scottsdale Restaurants and Bars

This luxury Arizona resort has delicious food and cocktails for you to enjoy throughout your stay. There are 5 different bars and award-winning restaurants to choose from. Each has its own cuisine, decor, wonderful landscapes, national and international dishes, refreshing cocktails, and sweet desserts. Room service is also available if you want a cozy meal in.
Food is incredible at the multiple Fairmont Scottsdale onsite restaurants with stunning views of the Sonoran Desert from many of the restaurants. Here are details of all the restaurants and bars at this luxury Fairmont Hotel:
Toro
Toro just reopened on the weekend of our stay. It serves Pan-Latin cuisine by acclaimed Chef Richard Sandoval. As we stepped inside the newly renovated restaurant, we were welcomed by candles blowing in the breeze, an extensive bar, and beautiful decor. There was a buzz about the restaurant with the excitement of the reopening.

The food was delicious! We enjoyed the Tuna Ponzu Guacamole, Steak and Fish. We were too full to sample a dessert but the options looked delicious. A shuttle can take you from the resort to the restaurant in 5 minutes. I highly recommend booking a table at the newly renovated restaurant.
Ironwood American Kitchen
At Ironwood American Kitchen, you can enjoy an extensive all-day menu that serves everything from flatbreads to salads and hearty pastas. Ironwood American Kitchen serves up plates using the season’s freshest flavors and highest-quality ingredients, including organic fruits, heirloom vegetables, sustainable pasture-raised meats, heritage grains, and farmstead cheeses.

We dined here for breakfast one morning, lunch another day, and dinner one evening as we loved the variety. It was also right by the Princess pool so made for a very easy way to refuel.
The weekend brunch is amazing! It has everything you could possibly want and more. Think donut walls, creme brulee, waffles, tasty fruit, egg sandwiches, and more.

Bourbon Steak
Bourbon Steak is by the award-winning Chef Michael Mina and is an AAA Four Diamond restaurant. Enjoy melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon and hand-cut tuna tartare, or try some fresh Alaskan king crab and black truffle mac and cheese. This is a perfect option for a special occasion and the ultimate foodies!
La Hacienda
Enjoy authentic Mexican food under the stars at La Hacienda. Fairy lights, beehive fireplaces and Spanish architecture make this a perfect choice for dinner. You can order fresh guacamole that will be smashed tableside and enjoy an extensive selection of tequilas.

The Plaza Bar
The Plaza Bar has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Indoors, you can enjoy an upscale bar to watch a game or enjoy views of the Princess Pool and Lagoon. Alternatively, sit outdoors on the patio or by the cozy fire pit under clear skies and the desert stars. At the Plaza Bar, you can enjoy unique cocktails, local craft beers on tap, and wines by the glass. Delicious food is also served.

As you can see, there are lots of options to choose from. Book your dinners in advance with the concierge so your plans are in place for your stay.

Fairmont Scottsdale Spa and Fitness Center
The Fairmont Scottsdale Spa is one of the most luxurious spas in Scottsdale Arizona. I highly recommend making time for a spa experience during your stay. As my stay was just 2 nights this time, I opted to enjoy my time by the pools. I’ll be back to spend a day at the spa in the future!
There is so much to enjoy at the Fairmont Scottsdale Spa including a whole menu of spa treatments and services such as massages, facials, body wraps, and wellness packages. The spa facilities are incredibly luxurious and relaxing.
You’ll also have access to a rooftop adults-only pool, a cold plunge pool, a eucalyptus aromatherapy room, a Swiss shower, a newly renovated grotto waterfall pool, a Swedish dry sauna, a wet steam room, fitness center access, and access to fitness classes (some may have an additional fee).

Delicious food is also served at the rooftop pool or garden atrium so you can refuel after your treatment.
When I visited, the rooftop pool was closed so spa guests could use all other Fairmont Scottsdale Princess pools instead. I saw lots of groups of women enjoying the spa as a special outing. I highly recommend a trip to the Fairmont Scottsdale Spa.
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Christmas Spectacular
While I was staying at the Fairmont Scottsdale Hotel, I learned all about Fairmont Scottsdale Christmas! As Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, I thought this was such a perfect way to celebrate Christmas or even visit the wonderland in the lead-up to Christmas.
The resort goes all out and Fairmont Scottsdale is turned into a Christmas wonderland. 10 MILLION fairy lights are hung around the Scottsdale resort. There’s a 120 ft. tall Ferris wheel, 128 firetables and igloos, an outdoor ice rink with real ice, 2 unique Santa experiences, and 2 miles of lights hung around a 4 story Christmas tree!
Sounds like the perfect way to get into the Christmas mood! The hotel offers early bird specials for booking holiday time. See all special offers here. Explore more about day tickets to Christmas at the Princess here.
Parking at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
We had a car rental and used the self-parking at the hotel. We popped to reception to check in and then were escorted by a golf cart to the parking lot. We got help with our luggage and then were brought to our room.
The parking lot is nearby. It was 112 degrees when we visited so we gladly took the offer of the golf cart to help us with luggage! The front desk can arrange a golf cart back to your car or to any location throughout the resort during your stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
