Olaplex is worth it, without any doubts. I started using Olaplex March 2020 and have been using it almost every week since. Olaplex is so easy to use and incorporate into your hair routine. While Olaplex hair products are on the more expensive side, I have a lot of hair and the Olaplex products last me a long time. I get months from Olaplex 3 and Olaplex 8.

Olaplex Products
As I mentioned above, I love Olaplex products and have tried all Olaplex products (except the Olaplex hair product specifically for blond hair as I have natural red hair).
Olaplex 1 and Olaplex 2 are only used in professional hair salons. You cannot buy them over the counter.
Olaplex 3 was made for use at home and it is a combination of the best of Olaplex 1 and Olaplex 2. I highly recommend Olaplex 3 as the first Olaplex hair product that you start off with. Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector reduces breakage and visibly strengthens hair.
Olaplex 4 & Olaplex 5 are shampoo and conditioner. I also love these products. The Olaplex bond maintenance shampoo is very sudsy and I always get a deep clean after using the Olaplex shampoo.
Olaplex 6 and Olaplex 7 are styling products. Olaplex 6 is a cream that works to eliminate frizz and repair the hair. For repairing the hair, I recommend Olaplex 3 as a first choice.
Olaplex 7 hair oil is great for adding shine and heat protection. If you are using Olaplex 7 hair oil for heat protection e.g. for using hair hot tools / hair dryer, use a generous amount to protect your hair. Olaplex bonding oil smells amazing!
Olaplex 8 is the hydrating mask. You can use this once per week instead of Olaplex 5 or your regular conditioner. Olaplex No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask is a highly concentrated reparative mask for intense moisture that adds shine, smoothness, and body.
